(dVERSE) Crowded Minds

Chivalry in the form of silence
Sought out to find the thief
The valiant soul throws me into violence
He who holds the key to diminishing my grief
Steps forth and through me becomes obsolete
Whimsical threads spread thin across your mind
Archaic beliefs plummeting scrimmaging to find
Like drones we seek forgiveness it basks in our crime
Shake the salt shaker pour it on the wound
Jump back down to earth and desert the crimson moon
He who plays with fire will indeed get a burn
Just wait quietly it will be karma's turn
Chiming and churning skin toiled and true
The wickedest of the wicked will come for you
Costume your mind,comfort yourself
Put all your secrets on the dusty top shelf
The higher the better
The better the higher
I am your servant my vicious squire
Battle like a Cracken in this broken world so vile
Take control, release your inner beast
As one in vision, in love we will feast
Turn your ear from the words of popularity
Reach within your crowded mind for clarity
Hold tightly to hands of reason
Fight for your power to end this bitter season
Illuminati come from darkness into light
Covens no longer under cover, but clearly in our sight
Face forward, no more masking the nasty bite
Cherry blossoms pretty and sweet
Welcome back my friend to your daily retreat

  2. hey Laura

    so much to like about this write - the hunger of it appeals most to my mind;

I am your servant my vicious squire
Battle like a Cracken in this broken world so vile
Take control, release your inner beast

raw energy and power and the soft exit is a perfectly pitched ending :D

  4. I got here eventually1 so sorry for my tardiness!...WOW- there is so much going on here- this certainly felt like a stream of consciousness- but almost like you are asking numerous and very deep questions of yourself and then world- the overall sense i got was one of insecurity- of committing only to get burned- particuallry within these lines

Shake the salt shaker pour it on the wound
Jump back down to earth and desert the crimson moon
He who plays with fire will indeed get a burn
Just wait quietly it will be karma's turn

Fascinating write packed full of emotion
